The HI740217 is a lab safety shield designed for use with the HI839800 COD Test Tube Heater.
While performing the heated digestion reaction for COD, total nitrogen, and total phosphorus analysis, the HI740217 safety shield can be secured on top of the test tube heater.
The durable plastic material is clear to allow users to visually monitor the display of the test tube heater. LED indicating lights are shown in addition to the temperature and countdown timer on the display screen.
